The first comprehensive review of Nova Scotia’s school system in 25 years has just been completed on behalf of the Minister’s Panel on Education. The panel was asked to identify “how to better adapt the education system to ensure success of all students in the changing environment.” Led by The Honourable Myra A. Freeman (Chair) the panel recommends changes in seven key areas including curriculum, teaching and the structure of the school system. This read will challenge us all to think about change in our own education system.
